It's been a bit since my last book review. I'd been in a reading slump and decided to read a quick queer novella to jump-start me. I made the right choice.  THE COBBLER'S SOLELESS SON by Meredith Katz Blurb:  Everyone expects Renart Walker to follow in his mother's footsteps and become the cobbler for their little demon-ruled town. That'd be the proper thing to do: keep his head down, live his quiet human life, and try not to get too involved with demons. Hey look! My first real post. And it's a book review, which you know, is the point of this blog. I don't have a ton of time to post this so let's get right into it, shall we? PLAYING THE LINES by J. Colby Cover art by Aisha Akeju Blurb : Photographer Elliot is near the top of his field and loves his work, even if it means putting up with models like Cory: beautiful, egotistical, and aggravating. Then a photoshoot in Norway shows there's more to Cory than Elliot thought, and he agrees to dinner despite himself. But even if he's not completely a brat, it's well known Cory prefers to play rather than settle. And Elliot isn't interested in being anyone's toy—no matter how persuasive and persistent Cory proves to be. Here's my review :
